Outline of Jonah

The book of Jonah the son of Amitai was most probably written sometime between 790 and 750 BCE, he prophesied during the reign of Jeroboam II (786-746 BCE), one of the wicked kings of the Northern Kingdom (2 Kings 14:25). He follows in the footsteps of two great prophets namely Elijah and Elisha and is followed by Hosea and Amos. Jonah is sent to the people of Nineveh. She touched the hem of His Garment

Shalom All Last week I was asked to speak on the woman with the issue of blood in a local church by one of the elders, the story is found in Matthew 9:20-22, Mark. 5:30-31, and Luke 8:42b-48.  The end was cut off, unfortunately, as such the closing prayer and benediction is missing.  Still I hope it will be worth listen too. The final Key passage for all of us is found in Romans 13:14  "Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Yeshua the Messiah and do not obey your flesh and its desires" This is something we can do as Jews and as Gentiles United in One Lord whom we both put on. Lets strengthen each other and help each other to stay within the faith and purity thereof. Missions in the Older Testament

Shalom All This was a message I gave, in a local Church on their Mission Sunday, they asked for a Jewish Biblical Perspective on Missions! And so I split it in three sections, Torah, Chetuvim and Nevi'im, the three major sections in the Hebrew Bible, the Tanach Torah (the first five books of Moses), the Writings and the Prophets! Rather than just look at Peter and Paul in the New Testament, I looked at the Mission in the Old Testament. The Feast of Trupets (Rosh Hashannah / Yom T'ruah): Leviticus 23:23-25

Shalom All May start with wishing everyone a blessed and wonderful year of spiritual growth, health above all a prospering in Messiah. The same pastor who asked me to speak on Messianic Prophecy, asked if I could do three segments  of approximate ten minutes each on the autumn feast of Israel and here is my very short attempt on the Day of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement will go up soon, but as I have already put my notes up for the final feast (Hag HaSuccot) the Feast of tabernacle I will not put that clip online, as there is too much goodness in it. An opportunity come up to speak for about 1/2 hour at a local congregation, on the topic of Messianic Prophecy. Messianic Prophecy is the What and Where does the Older Testimony (Old Testament) speak of the Messiah. With some Q&A at the end, most of the Q&A was not on the recording but a few were.  Hoping that you will enjoy this as much as they did.
